This shirt started with a longtime friend and coworker of mine, Mark Duncan.
Anytime a rig went down, equipment failed, or a job got ugly, he always had the same saying:
“Go be the hero.”
At first it was funny. But after enough years in the oilfield, you realize what it really means.
It means somebody has to answer the phone.
Somebody has to make the drive.
Somebody has to stay late.
Somebody has to figure it out when everyone else is waiting on the fix.
In this line of work, there’s always somebody carrying the pressure.
This shirt is for those people.
